The Dr. Israel "Ike" Tribble Jr. Endowed Scholarship is named for Ike Tribble, a champion of African-American history and scholarships. He was the first black chairman of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. This scholarship has been established to assist outstanding disadvantaged and/or minority students who have proven themselves academically, but lack financial resources to attend the University of South Florida. This scholarship is for all full or part-time USF undergraduate and graduate level students.
